"I started Subconscious in March when I was in a bit of a slump, decided to write around some vocals I found on splice. Over time this evolved into a bit of an electro / complextro banger with some vocal chops, but I wasn't happy with how the composition had evolved. I had sat on it for months it when one night my friend suggested I do the classic Kindrid thing and add some supersaws in the second drop. And now the track is what it is," - Kindrid.

"I created the bulk of this track over 3 days. It started with the drum groove in the drop, which is a direct recording off my Volca that I beefed up in Ableton. I was inspired by the vibe right before you want to leave an afterparty, when you're pushing yourself to keep the energy up and have a good time but internally part of you is screaming "get me the fuck out of here" -- that back and forth informed the call-and-response style drop," - Low Poly.

"What inspired the basis for my track ‘Shoyu' was actually an arpeggio I was messing around with inside Ana 2. The synth inspired the mood of the whole track, and it was easy to add a kick and some tops to get the groove going. Once I had the basic groove, I started to mess around with vocals. The original words that came to mind were “You don’t know what you want, I got something to show you”, which sort of came from the way the song was developing. I didn’t really know where the song was going, yet the music seemed to be showing me," - Speaker Honey.
